A full day at the studio. Built entirely around your goals.
For professional detailers, business owners, or advanced enthusiasts who want targeted instruction on specific techniques, workflows, or business questions.
What You'll Learn
Private mentorship is a one-to-one session at the Dalmine studio with the lead instructor. No fixed curriculum — the day is structured around what you need: a specific technique you want to improve, a product or process you want to learn, a business question about pricing or client workflow, or preparing to add a new service to your offering.
Pre-session planning
- We discuss your goals, current skill level, and what you want to achieve before the session
- The day is structured based on your priorities
Session content (examples)
- Advanced rotary polisher technique on hard or soft clear coats
- Ceramic coating application at professional product tier
- Business: pricing paint correction and coating jobs
- Client consultation workflow
- Paint inspection and diagnosis for challenging paint conditions
Is this course right for you?
If you want to detailing as a profession
You want to take on clients or already do. The gap is the documented knowledge — knowing why the process works and being able to explain it to clients. This course gives you the curriculum structure to move from doing it by feel to doing it professionally.
- Close the knowledge gap between hobbyist and professional
- Earn a verifiable certificate to show clients
- Learn from a working studio, not a product manufacturer
If you're already in the industry
You have experience. You're here for refinement, business methodology, or to add a specific skill (coatings, PPF consultancy). The studio-based curriculum is grounded in real-job practice — not training-centre theory.
- Refine specific techniques with direct instructor feedback
- Add a documented certification to your credentials
- Learn coating or PPF consultancy as a business service
Everything in the enrolment.
- Full day 1:1 at the Dalmine studio
- Pre-session consultation to structure the day
- Direct instruction on your chosen focus area(s)
- Access to professional equipment and products
- Lunch
Marco Ferretti
Lead Detailer & Academy Instructor
Marco Ferretti founded freshcardetail in Dalmine to close the gap between Italian detailing practice and accessible professional education. Every course in the Academy is built from the same methods used on client vehicles at the Dalmine studio — not from product manufacturer guides or theoretical frameworks.
He works on client vehicles and teaches at the studio simultaneously, which means the Academy curriculum reflects current, real-world practice. Students working with Marco receive instruction from someone who does the work every day.
Specialisms:
- Paint correction (DA and rotary)
- Ceramic coating application
- PPF specification and consultancy
- Detailing business methodology
