What New Car Protection actually is.

New cars are not delivered with clean paint. Manufacturing residues, transport protective wax, dealer lot contamination, and early handling accumulate on the surface before the vehicle reaches the owner. Applying protection over these deposits traps them in place.

The new car protection package removes manufacturing and transport contamination with chemical decontamination, applies a single-stage preparation polish to ensure surface uniformity, and then applies a ceramic coating to a surface that has never been swirled or damaged — which produces the most durable and visually effective coating result possible. The ceramic coat then protects this factory-fresh surface for years.

This package is for new or near-new vehicles (typically within the first 30–90 days of ownership or delivery). The window of opportunity is the period before the first automatic car wash, the first swirl mark, and the first degradation of the paint.

It is particularly relevant for vehicles where the paintwork is difficult to correct later (certain dark colours that show swirls immediately, metallic finishes, or soft clear coats), for vehicles that will be maintained long-term, and for owners who want to avoid paint correction expenses later.

The Process

How New Car Protection works.

New car inspection

We inspect the paint, document any pre-existing imperfections from the factory or transport (recorded for the owner), and confirm the scope of preparation required.

Chemical decontamination

Iron fallout, tar, and manufacturing deposits are removed chemically. New vehicles often have significant fallout from rail/ship transport that is not visible to the naked eye.

Preparation polish

A single-stage machine polish removes any light marring from handling and ensures surface uniformity before the coating is applied.

IPA wipe-down

Polish residue and oils are completely removed, leaving the clear coat in its cleanest possible state.

Ceramic coating

Ceramic coating is applied to the fully prepared surface, panel by panel. Initial cure on-site; full cure over 7–14 days.

Should I do this before or after the dealer prepares the car?

Come directly to us before any dealer "preparation" or "valet" is applied. Many dealer preparation processes use automatic wash equipment that immediately introduces swirl marks to brand-new paint. We prefer to see the vehicle before any post-delivery handling.

Is a new car really not clean when it arrives?

Correct — new cars are transported with protective wax layers, exposed to significant iron fallout from rail or ship transport (visible under inspection light even when not visible to the eye), and often handled at the dealer lot. Chemical decontamination is not optional; it is the correct starting point.

Can I book this before I collect my new car from the dealer?

Yes — and this is the ideal scenario. Arrange collection from us rather than the dealer, or bring the vehicle to us the same day. Contact us with your expected delivery date and vehicle details so we can plan the booking.
